MPLAB X is an integrated development environment (IDE) by Microchip to cater for it’s range of PIC microcontrollers.

It supports the use of the MPLAB XC compilers.

MPLAB X has basic refactoring support, including the ability to rename, move, copy, or change the function parameters.
Code Modification Detection
MPLAB comes with code modification detection which allows team members to easily detect what code has been changed in the recent past.
